Bundles Overview (What They Are and How They Work)
What are Bundles?
A bundle is a group of multiple products combined and sold as a single item. Instead of selling items individually, bundles allow you to package products together under one SKU.
This is useful for:
Product sets (e.g. skincare routines)
Promotions or kits
Multi-item offers
How Bundles Work
Bundles are made up of existing products (SKUs) within your inventory.
When a bundle is used in an order:
• The bundle itself is referenced as one item
• The system tracks the individual SKUs inside the bundle
• Inventory is affected at the component level, not the bundle level
This ensures accurate stock tracking across all included items.
Bundle Structure
Each bundle includes:
• A Bundle Name
• A Bundle SKU (unique identifier)
• A list of products (SKUs)
• A quantity for each product
Example:
A “Skincare Duo” bundle may include:
• 1 × Serum • 1 × Face Wash
Inventory Behaviour
Bundles do not hold their own stock.
Instead:
• Inventory is calculated based on the lowest available component SKU
• If one item is out of stock, the bundle is unavailable
This ensures bundles cannot be sold if components are missing.
Where Bundles are Used
Bundles can be used in:
• Orders
• Promotions
• Sales channels (depending on integration)
They simplify fulfilment while maintaining accurate inventory tracking.

Important Notes
Bundles rely on existing SKUs — products must already exist
Inventory is tied to component products, not the bundle itself
If one item is out of stock, the entire bundle becomes unavailable
Bundle SKUs must be unique
